This might be a month late... but better late than never.
January kicked off with the release of The Witching, a stand-alone occult horror novel about a recently divorced mother attempting to restart her life in a house haunted by the spirit of a witch.
Thanks to your support, The Witching briefly reached #1 New Release in its primary category--a first for me. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who picked up a copy, left a rating, or recommended it to someone else. Indie success is never a solo effort.
If you missed it, you can grab a copy here.
Looking Ahead
This year is ambitious. Possibly overly ambitious.
I have more stories outlined than I can realistically draft in twelve months, but that’s part of the fun. Some will release this year. Some may roll into the next. Either way, the work has already begun.
Before diving in, I do want to set expectations.
If you came to my work through The Witching, you’ll notice that my next release shifts gears slightly. While it still lives firmly in the supernatural horror space, it leans more toward action and world-building than slow-burn occult dread.
That doesn’t mean the atmospheric, emotionally heavy side of my writing is going anywhere. It simply means I’m exploring a different corner of the genre for a while.
I tend to write in two lanes:
- Slow-burn, psychologically heavy supernatural horror
- Dark, action-driven supernatural thrillers
Both will continue to exist in my catalog. Some stories demand quiet dread. Others demand more action.
Series
Supernatural Action Horror (5+ Books)
This is the project currently in production. It’s more pulpy than my last release--faster, monster-driven, and built around a larger supernatural world.
For a quick vibe check: think Constantine meets the early seasons of Supernatural.
It’s been a blast to write, and there’s plenty of room to expand this universe. If readers respond well, I plan to stay in it for a while.
Supernatural Psychological Thriller (Planned Trilogy)
This project is currently on the backburner, not because it lacks importance, but because it requires careful attention.
It’s a slower, more serious series centered on a spiritually sensitive young woman navigating grief, faith, and horrific crimes in her small town as darkness begins to take root.
It carries emotional weight, and when I step into this world, I want to do it right.
Stand-Alone Horror
- Haunted House Novel
- Supernatural Haunting Novella
- Supernatural Haunting Novel
- Werewolf Novel
- Creature Feature Novel
If you did the count, that’s at least thirteen different books competing for attention on my desk.
Will all of them release in 2026? Probably not.
Will several? Absolutely.
The goal remains the same: continue building a dark, atmospheric catalog... one story at a time.
The stories are already stirring. I’d better get back to work.
As always, happy reading!
