Inside the camp, Emma faces dangers of her own. Suspicious of the doctor and determined to uncover what he’s hiding, she begins digging for answers. But with most of the soldiers away on a critical mission, Emma soon attracts the attention of someone far more dangerous.

Meanwhile, Tyler has a problem he’d rather not face: he’s falling for Emma. So he does what he knows best… he runs. Joining a mission outside the camp seems like the perfect distraction—until he learns where they’re going. What begins as an escape from his feelings quickly becomes a fight for survival, with thousands of lives hanging in the balance.
